Home Remedies: Sore Throat Boil one cup of salie leaves, ten cloves and two cups of water for three minutes. Let the mixture stand and then sift. Add two teaspoons of almond oil and two tablespoons of honey and mix well. Put the mixture in a bottle with a screw top. Heat the mixture a little bit before you gargle with it. Another remedy is to take a bit of Wild wormwood and rosemary and put it in a cup of boiling water. Add some honey and gargle this mixture. Repeat a few times a day. You can also mix one teaspoon of salt with one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and mix it with 500ml of water and gargle with this mixture a few times a day. You can also take the yellow of an egg and mix it well with two teaspoons of honey and then now and then during the day you can just put a small bit of the mixture on your tongue. If you feel that you are getting a cold you can also eat a slice of onion with a bit of sugar. Contributor's Note Grandma's cures!!
