Take one teaspoon of thyme and add it to a cup of boiling water, drink this like tea three times a day. Take the skin of one mandarin and break it into pieces and add it to a cup of boiling water. Let it cool of and drink this mixture three times a day. You can also take a cup of boiled milk and add one egg to it and mix it well, then add a tablespoon of brandy and a teaspoon of sugar and drink this before you eat anything. Another remedy is to take one tablespoon of coriander, one tablespoon of dry orange peel made fine, one tablespoon white pepper and bottle of syrup or honey. Mix all the ingredients with the syrup or honey and let the mixture stand for at least four days before drinking it.
